Description of Med Index
Med Index est une application mobile qui liste tous les médicaments disponibles au Cameroun avec leurs prix locaux ainsi que quelques caractéristiques de base( forme, dosage…) . Med index a été développée par des professionnels de la santé pour les professionnels de la santé afin de les aider quotidiennement lors de leurs prescriptions.
Les prix des médicaments sont donnés à titre indicatif. Ils peuvent varier selon la ville et/ou la pharmacie, mais cette variation n’excédant généralement pas 10%.
Pour le grand public, l’équipe de Med Index ne prend aucune responsabilité en cas d’utilisation des informations de l’application sans l’avis indispensable et obligatoire de votre médecin.
Med Index is a mobile application that lists all the drugs available in Cameroon with local prices and some basic characteristics (shape, strength …). Med index was developed by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals to help them in their daily requirements.
Drug prices are indicative. They may vary by city and / or the pharmacy, but this variation generally not exceeding 10%.
For the general public, the Med Team Index takes no responsibility for any use of the application of information without the indispensable and mandatory advice of your doctor.

How to Install Med Index App on Android?
- Get the APK file of Med Index from the respective download link
- Install the Split APK installer app and then install this APK using that. (or) follow the below instructions
- Enable app install from Unknown Sources to install apps from a third-party app other than Google Play Store.
To do that go to Settings and search the word unknown
– For Android Nougat or lower version click on Unknown sources and enable that setting.
– For Android Oreo or later, clicking on Install unknown apps which will take you to a list of apps. Select the actual app through which you want to install the Med Index app.
Or you can do it other way: Let’s say, you have downloaded the Med Index APK file on Google chrome or firefox browser on your phone.
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications or go to Settings > search for unknown > Open the app (Chrome, Firefox or file manager app etc) > Install unknown apps and enable Allow from this source
