A New Team Tournament-“Q9” being held at the RCGC in the months of July-August 2021 in a unique format.
A total of 18 teams are participating in the tournament, which have been divided into 2 groups.
This tournament is a Team event wherein 8 golfers would form a team and any 4 members will play a match over 9 holes. 2 team members will tee off from Hole no 1 & 2 team members will Tee off from Hole no 10.
The format of play will be First 3 Holes: Scramble, Next 3 Holes: Better Ball & Last 3 holes: Alternate Shots.
50% of handicap of both players to be added & 3/4th of the total will be the Team handicap.
The total gross stableford points of both the pairs will be added to the team handicap points to determine the total points made by the team.
The Tournament will be played on a round robin league format culminating into a knockout stage.
